Granite floors
Granite is an intrusive, acid, igneous rock with a granular holo-crystalline
structure.
Granite has been used since ancient times as a building material (for
example, Egyptian obelisks are made of granite).
Today, granite is broadly used in the covering of floorings, in public buildings and monuments and in sidewalk grooves.
The features of granite are mainly its durability and compactness, which make it a material suitable for covering floorings lasting over time.
Many varieties of granite exist for floors and coverings: common granite, alkaline granite, arabesque granite, Carrara marble, veined granite etc.
Granite is available in different variations of colors, tones and surfaces. It is possible to choose the specific types of granite appropriate for the different contexts in which they are placed.
The gamut of granite color ranges from white to more intense colours such as different tones of beige, blue, green, brown, red, azure-blue and grey.
