opaque resin: resin made opaque in which the transmission of light in the tile is practically non-existent.

opaque surface: surface of a body like for example some varieties of granite used for covering floors and finishes through which the transmission of light is practically non-existent or void.

painting: the representation of forms and figures by colours; this technique is used for example in the artisan decoration of tiles in ceramics for floors.

parquet: floor produced by laying wood strips, called battons, side by side. The design made by matching the strips varies depending on the layout of the same. It is possible to achieve artistic floors by laying lighter and darker strips side by side to create a design or special decoration.

plastic refractory clay: material which can be easily shaped and does not change at high temperatures (1300-1500°C).
