applique: from the French "applied ornament" it is a kind of decoration for example of ceramics.
arabesque granite: variety of very prized white granite with grey dark veins, called "arabesques". It is widely used in making floors for indoors and outdoors.
architecture: art and technique of conceiving, designing and constructing buildings. The term architecture also includes the works for which the invention of drawing is required (architecture of gardens, interiors etc.).
